Parting Thoughts

As you can see, there is more to resawing than the woodworking books and owner's manuals may have led you to believe. But it's a useful technique, one that will save you a good deal of time and money - and lumber.

Better yet, everything that I've told you about resawing translates. That is to say, there are many other applications for all this knowledge; it isn't jus bandsaw trivia. Exploring resawing in depth is an education in bandsaw design and operation. This, in turn, helps you to use the tool to your best advantage.
