As we discussed in the introduction of the lawn furniture projects, here is an end table to accent the lawn chair. With only minor variations (length of the table top slats), this end table can be easily transformed into an outdoor coffee table. Extend the height of the legs and you have a serving table for crowded cookouts. Let your imagination be your guide.

For our table, we sued weather-resistant red cedar (rough Sawn). Of course, any good outdoor wood -- redwood, oak, teak, or even pressure-treated lumber will also work. (If you select treated lumber, read the warnings about its use near food.)
