Tip #274
Compound Miters with Sliding Table
There are some very good sliding crosscut tables on the market, some capable of cutting miter angles with incredible accuracy. Despite their precision, however, few are capable of cutting compound miters (with both the miter fence and table angled) because they cannot be used on both sides of the blade. Our simple "Antigravity Miter Jig" changes all that. Use it to transfer a precise miter setting from one side of the blade to the other. This stretches the capabilities of any sliding table to include compound miters.
