Cut a 6" length of 1" x 1" x 1/8" aluminum angle. Drill two 9/32" holes 4-7/64" apart on one side, and cut a rectangular hole 3/4" x 13/16" in the other. (An easy way to make the rectangular hole is to drill several round holes, then grind the sides flat with a machine file.) Mount the aluminum angle on one of the MARK V legs, tilted down at a slight angle towards the motor.

When you're not using your Mitre Gauge, slip it into the rectangular hole. The tilted holder will keep the bar in line with the leg, so you won't bang your shin when you reach for the casters.
