Description:
Compound angular cuts are made by cutting stock with the saw table tilted and an edge of the stock against the miter gauge face set an an angle less than 90-degrees.

Use:
Compound angular cuts are used in picture frames, shadow boxes, planter boxes, mirror frames, and similar objects having flared sides.
